ARTIST STATEMENT

My work uses an intuitive approach combined with meditation. I focus on layering pattern and color. By implementing concreteness, I allude to objects and place. Adding the principle of depth via realism, my current work continues to evolve. All the while, I contemplate the attachment to objects associated with loss and change, as well as our immediate environmental concerns.
